This notice is published pursuant to the direction of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) passed in the matter of application moved by GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Limited for withholding of dividend of shareholders who have not provided their valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Limited (the “Company”) has moved an application before SECP under Section 251(2) of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 for allowing it to withhold the dividends declared on 27th April 2016 payable to those shareholders who did not provide their CNIC to the Company to enable it to comply with directions issued by the Commission vide SRO 831(1)2012 dated July 5, 2012 read with SRO 19(1)2014 dated January 10, 2014. A list of such shareholders (including name, address, Folio No and amount payable) is available at www.pk.gsk.com/investors/notice-to-the-share-holders/.
Through this notice the Company is giving a final opportunity to all such shareholders to:
- a) Either provide a copy of their valid CNIC to the Company within 14 days, in which case the Company shall issue the dividend warrant; or
- b) Make a representation in respect of this application before SECP at the following address within 14 days of the date of this notice

Please note that in case of failure to provide valid CNIC or failing to make any representation in writing, in person or through your representative before the Executive Director (Corporate Supervision Department) within the aforesaid time period, the SECP shall decide the application as per law which may result in withholding of your dividend.
